A: The great thing about Clara and the band is that all the members have good music taste. They are influenced by artists that play all genres and try and blend all their music influences together to create their own sound. They love artists from MUSE to Britney Spears, Bill Withers to Dr Dre, Michael Jackson to Bruno Mars, Modjo, Chaka Khan all the way to Whitney Houston, The Rolling Stones, Jamiroquai and D'Angelo. They also perform JPOP, City Pop, Filipino and Spanish classics by international artists across the globe such as Mariya Takeuchi, Kingo Hamada, Utada Hikaru, Ozaki Yutaka and Juan Karlos.

Q: How much do you charge for events?
A: All events are quoted depending on what's required and they can offer bespoke packages. Please get in touch for more information and details.
Q: How long are your performances/sets?
A: Clara Risu and the band usually provide a 2 hour performance consisting of 2 x 45 minute sets with a 30 minute break in between. During the break, we can provide a music playlist played through our speakers. Clients may also choose the songs in the 30 minute playlist.
They can also offer performances in the range of:

Q: Do you play your own original music?
A: Yes, Clara and the band write their own music and can play in events and venues which require only original music.
Q: Can you learn new songs on request?
A: Yes, Clara Risu and the band can learn new songs upon request providing that we are given adequate time to learn. They may limit the amount of songs which can be requested depending on the event but we are always willing to accommodate requests to ensure we provide good service and a great performance for your event.
Q: How far are you willing to travel?
A: Clara Risu and the band are an international function band and ready to perform for destination weddings. We will travel all around the UK and abroad. Travel and accommodation costs will be discussed and arranged during the quotation process.
Q: Do you provide your own PA system?
A: Yes, they can provide a full and up to date PAT tested PA system consisting of premium quality sound equipment.
All the band members also have premium instruments for performances. Clara Risu also has public liability insurance of £10 million.
Clara Risu also has a dedicated sound engineer and band assistant for every performance.
